I am Ximena Otalora, a highly skilled industrial designer, creative professional, innovator and strategist for major international firms. I am a strong creative critical thinker with proven leadership abilities. I streak a passion for the design process from start to end, with extensive experiences in human center design, leadership and strategy. I offer proven project management skills from daily project supervision, team building and mentoring. I offer a solid background in research, concept design, 3D, prototyping, mass production and marketing.
Being a creative artist, I have to continually look for inspiration and never stop learning the newest trends the industry. I have this belief that to break the existing patterns and rules, you must first know them all perfectly, so to understand the rules and get inspired, I often choose traveling. The freedom of landing in a new place and the excitement to discover new cultures allows me to see things from different angles and expand my knowledge. Every single place in the world has something extraordinary to offer as long as we know how to approach it. I choose to stay open-minded, kind, and curious about whatever life has to offer!

After years of experience working with people from many different countries and backgrounds conclude that we are all different, yet we all share similar values and dreams, I am passionate about connecting with others through creativity and designs and blessed to have exhibitions in brilliant places, including the Boca Raton Museum and been invited to be part of events like the Milan Design Week. After all, the most important thing for a designer is sharing authentic ideas with others and my success comes from knowing that people recognize and appreciate my work and skills.
